Why this time?

So I hit the drive thru at TacoBell for lunch today and ordered my usual 79¢ bean burrito w/OUT the onions. I drive up to the window to pay, and they give me my meal, I say thanks and drive away. Now, I routinely ckeck my order to make sure they don't slip the repulsive vegetable in my burrito before I get too far from the restaurant, however, this time around, I didn't check to make sure my order was correct. I get all the way home, open the wrapper, and take my first bite. Lo and behold, my first bite was loaded with onions. Why? Of all the times I've gone to TacoBell, why did it have to be the one time that I didn't check my order? Seeings that there isn't a TacoBell just around the corner, and I'm too lazy to spend my time and gas money to drive all the way back to have it corrected, I threw my burrito away and made a sandwich instead.
My thing is this, Mexican is my favorite food and I have eaten at many different resaurants that serve Mexican. I have not come across ANY other Mexican restaurant that actually puts onions in their Bean and Cheese burrito. Why does TacoBell, of all places, have to include onions as one of their standard ingredients? That pisses me off in and of itself. There shouldn't be onions in a Bean and Cheese burrito. Granted TacoBell is not real Mexican food, but they can at least can that ingredient altogether from the Bean and Cheese burrito.
